RENFREW: Golf packages are becoming a big industry in the Ottawa Valley, producing much-needed tourism dollars.

In the summer of 2003, Quality Inn Arnprior and Renfrew Inn, in partnership with local golf courses created Golfaholics.ca, a website designed to promote the popular golf packages offered by both hotels and a variety of golf courses. In the past four years, the golf-package business has increased by 50% annually, mainly due to the wide variety of courses offered, as well as word of mouth and price. Golfaholics.ca golf packages offer the best variety of golf courses throughout the Upper Ottawa Valley, with over 9 golf courses to choose from.
