Your invited to join the Ottawa Riverkeeper (www,ottawariverkeeper.ca) and Canadian Voyageur Adventures (www.gocanoe.com) to spread the message about the importance of clean water in our lives. The section of the Ottawa River that you will paddle is part of the vital watershed that provides drinking water for over 1.5 million people, in towns and cities including Ottawa and Gatineau. The 5 day guided excursion will take you through Renfrew County and the Upper Ottawa Valley. The pace will be moderate, to accommodate individuals of varying physical strength and fitness levels. You will see spectacular scenery and wildlife and stop at interesting natural and historical sites along the way.
