ARTISTS
Once
again the OVTA is looking for quality
artwork that will inspire tourists
to visit this region. We are running
a contest to find a new cover for
the OVTA 2008 Travel Guide and Map.

ONTARIO 2008 FRANCOPHONE TOURISM
INFORMATION GUIDE
Their
contract with OTMPC (Ontario Tourism
Marketing Partnership Corporation)
has given Direction Ontario the
mandate to expand province wide.
With more than 500,000 readers from
Québec, French Canada and French
Europe, the Francophone Tourism
Information Guide is a perfect source
of exposure for any tourism endeavor.
The
"2008 Francophone Media Planning
Kit" is included in the hyperlink
below. This will help you
discover the potential of the Francophone
markets; guide you to make the right
media choices to reach the French
markets and much more. With a publication
of 80,000 copies and a projected
download of over 100,000 from the
OTMPC website you are sure to receive
maximum visibility.
The
"Enhanced" category gives
you a name mention, coloured photo,
telephone number or toll free number,
email address, link to your website
from their website and a 40 word
(250 characters) description
of your business or service, for
$325.00. Your "Enhanced"
listing will also appear on Direction
Ontario's website with photo and
description as in the hard copy.
You can also choose the free listing
under the "Basic" category
but only if you book before August
15, 2007.
If
you are interested in listing your
business in the 2008 Francophone
Tourism Information Guide, it is
mandatory to fill in the six-question
survey that evaluates your Francophone
services at a national level. This
will allow tourists to know ahead
of time, what type of Francophone
services they can expect when visiting

ONTARIO
SNOWMOBILE MAGAZINE - ADVERTISING
OPPORTUNITY
The
OVTA will once again be purchasing
a full-page colour co-op ad in the
December 2007 Travel Guide issue
of Ontario Snowmobiler Magazine
(OSM). The full-page ad will highlight
the 2400km of groomed trails and
Valley hospitality found in this
region. A full-page of editorial
will also accompany the ad. This
exposure will put a spotlight on
the Ottawa Valley trail system,
highlight member businesses, as
well as put the Ottawa Valley first
and foremost in the minds of the
travelling snowmobilers when planning
their destinations.
OSM
is distributed to 72,000 active
snowmobiling families, including
close to 3,000 American families
who snowmobile in Ontario every
year. Snowmobilers who purchase
an Ontario Federation of Snowmobile
Clubs (OFSC) trail system permit
also receive a free subscription.
OVTA
members have the opportunity to
be listed on the full-page ad for
$450 (+ GST).
