Thursday and Friday Specials
Stone
Fence Theatre is offering a large
block of seats for our Thursday
and Friday performances of Here
To Stay! this week for just $22.
We are sorry we had to raise prices
this year. We did so in part because
we didn't get a number of grants
for which we applied, and also because
of some extra expenses, including
moving into a new venue with central
air conditioning.
So
to ease the pain of the higher price
- and to fill the hall with people
we KNOW will love the show - we're
going to try offering discounts
on a limited number of seats this
week. If this works well, we may
continue it.
Please
call the box office and order yours.

Dessert
Theatre
As
you know, your ticket price this
year includes dessert, a hot beverage,
and GST. What you may not know is
that the home-baked desserts at
the show are prepared by Shirley
Yackobeck of the Killaloe and Area
Lions Club, and friends. And they
are DELICIOUS. Last night it was
home-made honey-dipped donuts. Tonight....
well we're not allowed to say. But
every night these treats are different
and superb.

Vittles
'n' Fiddles
Worth
taking in whether you're going to
the show or not. Give your friends
a taste of the Valley by taking
them out to see Barney, Ken or Kendra.
Supper and entertainment cost just
$20, tax included. Wednesdays and
Thursday's it's Corinne's incredible
Polish buffet - pierogies, sledzies,
cabbage rolls, bigos... makes your
mouth water to consider. Fridays
and Saturdays the Red Canoe Cafe
at the Wilno Station Inn offers
an Ottawa Valley BBQ, with roast
local beef, southern style BBQed
pork, potato salad, coleslaw, vegetables,
home-baked beans, rolls and butter.
The lineup includes singing
story-teller Barney McCaffrey (Wednesday
at the Wilno Tavern), "Reverend"
Ken Ramsden (Thursday at the Tavern,
Friday at the Wilno Station) and
the effervescent fiddler/stepper
Kendra Huckabone, Saturday evenings
at the Wilno Station. Ray Chapeskie
and John Foreman fill in occasionally.
We
look forward to seeing you "up
the line!"
