ANNUAL RURAL RAMBLE - APRIL 27
The
13th Annual Rural Ramble - A Celebration
of Rural Living - is scheduled for
September 29 & 30, 2007. This
traditional self-guided driving
tour takes visitors through the
various agricultural and rural operations
of our scenic Ottawa Valley countryside.
Last year, over 2000 visitors of
all ages enjoyed a weekend of discovery,
while touring the various sites
and experiencing rural living first-hand.
The
Rural Ramble offers the perfect
opportunity to maximize awareness
of your business or to educate the
public about your industry. Share
your knowledge with generations
to come. The Ramble is a great way
to show your Valley price and celebrate
rural living!
In
an effort to revitalize the Ramble,
encourage more businesses to become
involved and attract more visitors,
the event is taking a new direction
this year. For the first time, sites
will be grouped into the following
experiential categories: Agricultural;
Attractions; Eateries; Galleries
& Artist Studios; and Specialty
Shops.
Site
applications are now being accepted
and the deadline to register is
FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 2007. The cost
to be a site on the Ramble is $150
(+ GST). Organizations interested
in participating as a site should
contact Melissa Johnston, OVTA Communications
Coordinator, at 613.732.4364, ext.
459 or mjohnston@countyofrenfrew.on.ca.
